«Primitive Music»

A wooden crate functions as a primitive resonance box: strings are stretched across the top, attached to the side is a rotatable tin with a ball rolling about inside it. There is no particular composition for this instrument, everyone is invited to try it out. Today it is on display in the Museum of Modern Art, Vienna (formerly Collection Hahn, Cologne).
