William Forsythe
b 1949 in New York City (USA); studied dance at Jacksonville University and at the Joffrey Ballet School; 1973 danced for the Stuttgart Ballet and started to work as a choreographer; from 1984 director of the Frankfurt/M. Ballet; Forsythe is one of the most renowned choreographers of contemporary dance internationally. As the artistic director of the Ballett Frankfurt he has developed a highly complex dance language, with which hexplores the boundaries of ballett and questions the aethetics of dance as an art performed on stage; lives and works in Frankfurt/Main (D).

Michael Saup
b 1961 in Jungingen (D); studied Music at Dominican College, San Rafael, California, USA; studied Computer Science at the Fachhochschule (Technical College) Furtwangen and Visual Communication at the Hochschule für Gestaltung (College of Design), Offenbach; instructed at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste (Academy of Visual Arts), Munich; artistic-scholarly staff member at the Institute for New Media at the Städelschule, Frankfurt/M.; since 1999, Professor at the Hochschule für Gestaltung (College of Design), Karlsruhe; lives and works in Frankfurt/M. und Karlsruhe.
