 Lucinda Childs

* 1940 in New York City; studies dance with Merce Cunningham and Robert Dunn; first dance projects with the Judson Dance Theater 1963 and at the end of the 1960s her own company; in the following years she collaborated with Robert Wilson, Philip Glass, Steve Reich, Frank Gehry, Henryk Gorecki, Iannis Xenakis, Robert Mapplethorpe; she is considered a protagonist of post-modern dance.
